Plans & Billing

The 14-day trial, what view-only mode blocks, and how upgrading works.

Every new workspace starts on the Free plan, which is a one-time 14-day trial with full access — build flows, connect tools, run automations, use AI.

"One-time" is literal: the trial is stamped once per organisation and does not reset.

While the trial runs#

Everything works. There is no feature gating during the trial — the point is to find out whether the platform does what you need, which you cannot do through a keyhole.

Keep an eye on the end date. The workspace shows how many days remain.

When the trial ends#

The workspace drops to view-only. Nothing is deleted: your flows, connections, run history and configuration are preserved exactly as you left them.

What view-only means precisely:

Still works

Blocked

Reading your flows

Running flows

Reading run history and logs

Creating or editing flows

Reading connections

Sharing

Signing in

Exporting

The important consequence: active flows stop executing. Scheduled runs do not fire, webhooks are not processed, and connector events are not acted on. If a flow was keeping two systems in sync, that sync stops.

Upgrading#

Upgrading restores full access immediately — flows become runnable and editable again, and active flows resume responding to their triggers. Nothing needs to be rebuilt or reactivated.

Open Plan and billing from the profile menu, press Compare OctaviaFlow plans, pick one and Confirm your upgrade. The checkout takes an optional offer code and a GSTIN for your invoice; prices are shown before tax, with GST added at checkout. The public pricing page lists the same plans.

Paid plans are never on trial, so this only ever happens once.

Execution credits#

Paid plans meter usage in execution credits. Every step a run executes consumes credits — a plain step costs a flat amount, and a call to the managed Octaviaflow Model is weighted by the tokens it uses. Each plan includes a monthly allowance, shown on Plan and billing as Credits used this period, and you can buy a credit add-on from the same page without changing plan.

When the allowance runs out, runs are paused on billing rather than failed — they resume once credits are available. The page shows which run is waiting. Because a paused sync is easy to miss, treat Credits used this period as something to glance at when you glance at the logs.

Bring-your-own-key AI calls are billed by your provider, not in credits; the page shows an estimate under BYOK spend.
